Descrizione: Benché pubblicato per la prima volta nel 1565, è soltanto nell’edizione del 1570 che è possibile trovare un primo riferimento a Giovanna d’Arco. La cronaca riporta soltanto la notizia della cattura di una donna armata chiamata “La Pucell de Dieu” avvenuta a Compiègne il 23 maggio 1430, grazie alla quale i francesi credevano di avere riconquistato i territori perduti.
